During the first lecture week of the winter term, the semester opening party "Meine erste Uniparty" takes place at the TUM main campus.
Not just for freshers! "Meine Erste Uniparty" is a blast for first-year and experienced students every year. Part of the TUM is transformed into one big party for one night only. The areas in front of the lecture halls are turned into dance floors, with the main floor in the central campus courtyard. Every year, in addition to mainstream music on the main floor, there are other genres of music on different floors. Several bars serve everything from beer to long drinks and cocktails to limes, and the food stall offers just the right thing for student eating habits.

Want to take a look behind the scenes? Join us as a party helper! You'll get free entry to the party, free food and drink during your shift and extra vouchers for more drinks at the end of your shift. Plus, serving beer from the tap to a partying crowd is a blast!

Impressions
About one hundred volunteers take care of the approximately 5,000 guests of the party during the evening, even when the lights go out at 4:00 am. The party guests should, however, then go to bed to sit fresh and alert at the lecture again at 8:00 am.

You have two options for this:
Get involved as a helper: approximately one month before the party the helper registration is activated at helfen.fs.tum.de/meup2025. There you can sign up as a helper at the beer, long drink or cocktail stand, as an assembling and dismantling assistant, for the checkroom, as an AStA security and for many other shifts. We are happy about every helper!
Get involved as an organizer: about three months before the party, the AStA starts planning. Positions such as PR, assembling and dismantling manager, stand manager or jumper manager are assigned. Everyone has his or her task until the party starts. And on the day itself, you can see with satisfaction what the team has put together. - A blast!
