Student Representatives of the Board of Study & Teaching (BoST)
The Executive Board for Teaching is a relatively young body at TUM where all activities of the area of teaching and learning come together. The Board of Teaching is composed of three Deans of Studies (representatives of the respective TUM locations), one representative of the academic staff, the Vice President for Studies and Teaching and two student representatives. The meetings take place approximately once a month, current topics are the repetition of passed exams to improve marks, the procedure when academic misconduct happened and multiple choice. Due to the small number of members, the Teaching Board is an extremely effective body. The representatives have to prepare well for the meetings to convince with arguments there. However, it is also one of the few bodies in which student representatives can introduce topics by themselves and get improvement suggestions accepted.

In addition, the Heads are in contact with the cities and communities of the respective campus.

Heads of EuroTeQ
The EuroTeQ representative at TUM involves operational cooperation in the European university alliance EuroTeQ and the active contribution of student perspectives. The core tasks include participation in the monthly meetings of the EuroTeQ Student Council as well as the preparation and formulation of student positions on ongoing projects, teaching formats, and governance topics.
The representatives advise the Management Board and the EuroTeQ secretariat by bundling feedback from the student body and contributing to decision-making processes. Another area of responsibility is participation in selected working packages, e.g. on mobility, joint courses, lifelong learning or student engagement, including content contributions to reports, votes and project milestones. The office also includes participation in strategic discussions on the further development of the alliance, for example on future formats, priorities or structural adjustments.

Heads of the Studierendenwerk
As the name suggests, the Heads of the Studierendenwerk are responsible for the contact with the Studierendenwerk. This includes meetings, such as the regular Jour Fixe or the Social Round. Moreover there is also a lot to do such as BAföG, housing or the canteen. You can talk to the Studierendenwerk about everything - and that's necessary because there is probably no student who doesn't have contact with the Studierendenwerk someday. But also the other way round, holding this office, you are the contact person for the Studierendenwerk if they want our opinions on new ideas or have events to advertise.

Heads of the StudiTUM Houses
The Heads of the StudiTUM houses of the Student Representation serve as an interface between the TUM and the students for housing-related matters. We are involved in the design and equipment of the houses, including the study grants provided for this purpose and also serve as contact person for problems. As the houses are especially for students, we have an influence on their operation and work closely together with the TUM to bring in student concerns about the houses.
