The Chairs

The Student Council Chairs manage the official business of the Student Council. The Chair consists of three equal Chairpersons of the business areas of University Policy, Parliamentary Management and Internal Management / Team Building. They represent the Student Council towards the University Management Board and the public, e.g. press inquiries. In addition, they serve as contact persons for the Student Councils and cooperate with them in terms of content.

Business Area University Policy

The Chairperson of the University Policy is responsible for the content-related work of the University Policy Area and the representation of students towards the University Management Board. In addition, he/she drafts statements for the Senate and the University Council on behalf of the Student Council, especially when changing or setting up new courses.

Business Area Parliamentary Management

The Chairperson of the business area Parliamentary Management takes care of the preparation, holding and debriefing of meetings of the TUM Student Council and the AStA. This includes the preparation of the agenda, the timely invitation and the timely dispatch of the minute after the meeting.

Business Area Internal Management / Team Building

The Chairperson of the Internal Management / Team Building Department is responsible for the supervision of the speakers and representatives of the Student Representation. He*She is committed to a good team atmosphere, organizes seminars or team building events and has an open ear for questions and suggestions.
