Long Night of the Universities

The Long Night of the Universities is an entertaining lecture tour through Munich's universities with a long tradition. During this night from six to six, professors and lecturers from LMU and TUM will do the honors in the TUM Audimax and offer you a slightly different insight into their respective fields with wit, humour and excitement.

Food
Your physical well-being is taken care of the whole night! In addition to soft drinks and water, we have, of course, also provided beer and coffee for you. Sandwiches (also vegan & vegetarian), as well as sweet & savory snacks are available for in between. Of course, the prices are student-friendly. However, this year we can only accept card payment. Coffee will be free after midnight if you bring your own cup.
Admission rules
Bulky objects (e.g. beer boxes), dangerous objects, animals or spirituous beverages are not allowed! We also ask you not to take any or only small backpacks with you, as the escape routes must always remain free and are not allowed to be blocked by the above-mentioned objects!
If you cannot climb the stairs, please contact us and we will activate the elevators for you.
In case of overcrowding, we reserve the right to impose a temporary admission stop.

Finally back in presence! After one year "online only" we are happy to welcome you back at the Audimax of the TUM for the Long Night of the Universities 2022! This year not only with professors and lecturers from LMU, TUM and HM, but even with university groups and an interactive quiz with prizes!

The Long Night of the Universities is an entertaining lecture tour through Munich's universities with a long tradition. During the night of May 13, 2021, a total of six lecturers will do the honors in the TUM Audimax and offer you a slightly different insight into their respective fields with wit, humour and excitement.
After the great approval of the last event, lecturers from HM, TUM and LMU will again accompany you through the Night 2021.
Due to the current situation, the event will take place via livestream on YouTube without viewers in attendance.
