Welcome to the International Affairs Department of the Student Representation at TUM!

We’re here to support you, our international students, and help make your time at TUM as smooth as possible. We understand that adjusting to a new environment can be quite challenging, so we help with common concerns, provide helpful information, and connect you to the existing resources you need. From overcoming language barriers to cultural exchange and community events, we’re here to help you feel at home.If you have any questions, ideas, or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out – we’re excited to support you!

What are our goals?

• Represent the concerns of international students from all different backgrounds.
• Build a tight community of internationals.
• Help with everyday problems that may face international students.
• Organise events and meet-ups. 

We are also a central contact for issues affecting international students and incidents of discrimination.

We plan many fun social events and activities!

Yes! We also plan many fun events and meet-ups for international students to strengthen community bonds, and we would be more than happy to get to know you in person; please check out the latest social media posts on the official AStA instagram account with the header "international affairs department" and join our events! We would be happy to see you there :)
