Postal vote

If you are not close to your election office on the day of the election, you can simply apply for a postal vote. You can apply for the documents up to 2 weeks before the actual election. We advise international students to apply for the documents earlier in order to compensate for any postal delays.

Request postal voting

First, in TUMonline, under Documents, click on Request postal service. You can then choose the address to which the documents should be sent.

As soon as you have received your postal voting documents, you can fill them out according to the instructions on the ballot papers. Afterwards, you can either send the documents to the election office by (internal) post (unstamped) or hand them over personally there.

Done!

If you pick up the documents personally at the election office, the application is possible one week longer.
